Judy’s UFO Challenge # for October was #5. I worked some on my Victory Quilt blocks, but did not get them into a quilt top. #5 off my other list was a baby quilt, which I finally started quilting last Monday evening. Imagine that — it’s still not finished. (Maybe tonight). But have no fear, I did complete a UFO in October.
Pictured above is my Texas Braid quilt. I started this quilt top at a Bonnie Hunter workshop my Guild sponsored in May 2010. I’m counting this as my October UFO.
As for November, Judy picked # 3 — that’s either my 2006 Retreat Mystery Quilt
or my Yellow Thangles quilt.
Stay tuned to see if I get either of these quilts done this month — and follow the links over at Patchwork Times to see what others accomplished during this past month.
You’ve done very good and finishing this year. Most of my finishes haven’t been on my lists. I like your scrappy retreat quilt, is it one you designed?
wow! LOVE the braid. maybe someday….
