At the beginning of the month my goals were to piece 13 blocks for various projects; resume quilting my Double Wedding Ring; quilt, bind and label a baby quilt; finish piecing Star Struck and quilt Texas Braid if there was time. Overall, I’m really pleased.
I think I ended up with 15 blocks, I’ve nearly completed two rows of rings on the DWR, and the baby quilt is ready to be delivered. Instead of finishing Star Struck, I finished Oklahoma Backroads, pieced the backing and have it about 3/4 quilted!
I nearly forgot. I got a great idea for some pre-printed embroidery dragonflies — and only made one. The rest are in my bag for the mini-retreat in a couple of weeks.
