This past week I’ve spent time marking Deadline III, so there are no pictures. However, this weekend was String Fling in Manhattan, Kansas. Over 650 5th – 9th grader string players. This is the 8th/9th grade orchestra that Sydney played in.
I’m not sure what I was thinking, I didn’t bring my camera, so today’s photos are off my camera.
While she was at practise, I spent the weekend trimming the rail fence blocks.
I set up a cutting station.
The bed became the design wall. Half the blocks are trimmed.
I started reading Publish Your Patterns! by Nancy Restuccia. The link will take you to Amazon – no affiliation. Before Christmas I checked the book out from the library. Things were crazy and I didn’t open it until the day before I had to take it back (after the 2nd renewal!) What I saw in those few minutes made me want to buy my own copy to read at leisure.
And I did work on one of my own projects. I grabbed my redwork.
