Quilt Show

First, I have not fallen off the face of the earth.  I’ve just been busy.  First with preparations for Christmas, then for a party and for my husband’s birthday.  I thought I  had pulled it off, then woke up this morning and realized that I don’t have his birthday present wrapped!

But the title of this post is “Quilt Show”.  For the party, my husband suggested that we display a some of my quilts throughout  the house.  “Some” turned out to be all but three.  The pictures start in the back of the house and end up in my sewing room office.

The quilt stands/racks in my sewing room were built by my husband. I’ll do a post on them when we disassemble then later next week.

8 Thoughts on “Quilt Show

  1. Fabulous! What a wonderful idea! You turned your home into a quilting art gallery! I’m sure your guests enjoyed it!

  2. Wow what beautiful quilts you have. I would love to have my home decorated with quilts. I seem to give them away too fast.

  3. How nice to have that many places to display your quilts this year. My Dh made a PVC quilt hanger for me but I don’t use it except when I display my quilts at other places. Looks great! Thanks for the tour.

  4. First–happy birthday to your dear hubby—he has great ideas! I laughed when I saw the quilt covering “exercise equipment”. If I hadn’t read the caption I would have thought you covered a saddle on a saddle rack! I’m going to be very interested watching your UFO challenge.

  5. The sewing room racks–gotta see them. I have folding ones that fit in the corners. I need large layered racks. Extra muscle build in.

  6. I didn’t get my invitation! You can tell which room is the most important…sewing room with the most pictures. Looks great, Pam, and a LOT of wonderful work.
