Nothing in and nothing out this week so my numbers have not changed. In fact the only thing I’ve done in my sewing room is hem a pair of my niece’s pants.

The reason for no time in my sewing room starts with this:
It’s a new sink and faucet in our hall bath (new drain pipes as well). As my husband says “I’m not a plumber. And I don’t even play one on TV”, but he humored me I badgered him until he gave in and between the two of us and my sister’s fiance we managed to get this done. The good news is when we get to the master bath, there’s more space and we’ll know what we are doing.
Once the sink was in place, family started arriving. My sister and her fiance stayed with us two nights, and we had my brother’s kids for the same two nights. Thursday we went to see the musical Annie at Theater in the Park. Friday night we grilled and Saturday the kids saw Karate Kid with my husband while I hemmed the pants, a Chick-fil-a lunch and finally out to my brother’s for more family, visiting and the annual 4th of July party. We got home (just the 2 of us) shortly after midnight.
This evening we’ll go to the Overland Park Civic Band concert in the Park (I’ll watch, my husband plays French Horn with the group). Tomorrow I get to relax as I have the day off. Who knows, perhaps I’ll get Dancing Flowers finished!
love the faucet – is it brushed nickle? Great job!
