This weekend I worked on the 4-Patch Stacked Posies. I have 14 more blocks to make and then I will have to make my final decision about the framing and sashing. To work completely from my stash and with the original fabrics, it will be red frame with blue sashing, but now I’m wondering if that’s really the right decision. We’ll have to wait and see.

Nice to see you have been very busy! I can’t see much ‘blue’ in the blocks. I had to check out the closer-up pictures from another post. If you sash it in blue, it will pull out that color more. Do you have the similar Blue? It can be a hard color to match.
All three of the fabrics I purchased for this quilt were from the same fabric line – Wildflower Serenade II by Kansas Troubles. This is what I’m leaning toward — but with red cornerstones.

Don’t you just love that pattern? i have made a number of Stacked Posie quilts. I love the fabric you used.
