Over the weekend I finished up the blocks for “August Quilt C” and I’ve started assembling the rows. The pattern “cheat sheet” can be found HERE. I hope to finish the top during the week. Then it will be time to make prep the backing for the spool quilt.
Hop over to Patchwork Times to see what others are up to. I expect there will be a lot of Celtic Solstice. So far I’m resisting — Orca Bay is still in a million pieces!
Pam, I like your pattern a lot! I can imagine it with scrappy squares….maybe brights, with black frames…..hmmm!
What a great design. Hum, do I want a copy of this design???
Way to resist. You have a fun RW & B project going.
I really like your quilt and how it looks like ribbons woven together. You posted a comment on my blog about the JT2 BOM… the block you mentioned not seeing was not in the original quilt. I didn’t like the block that was in it’s place, so replaced it. I also replaced the other large block because I totally messed up the one that was in the pattern. It turned out just fine… just too small!
