Quilting and Stuff by Knitnoid

What’s On My Design Wall

I’m having computer troubles, so dealing with that is taking away from my quilting time.  Last night about 7, I remembered that the April 1st JT2 blocks and assembly were out.  So to get something “new” done, I quickly sewed the blocks I have done together.  I’m still struggling with Grandma’s Favorite Compass and we won’t even talk about the large needle turn applique block from this month.  I’m all for stretching my limits, but those two blocks back to back are pressing all of my buttons.

Check out what others have on their design wall over at Patchwork Times and I’ll be back later with my UFO report and Stash Report.

7 Thoughts on “What’s On My Design Wall

  1. too much of a new or difficult thing is sometimes too much. Your blocks are lovely

  2. I hear your pain and I’m right there with you! Your blocks look fantastic….nice job :0).
I am doing JT2 in red and white and a second one in pink and brown…just shoot me.
Hang in there…we can do this :0)!!

  3. Love the two colors and variety of sizes. Nice going!

  4. Your blocks are looking wonderful! I have also fallen a little behind – still working on my feathered star. The only way I will be able to keep up is to do some substitution on the blocks that are a little too challenging. I’ll definitely be machine appliqueing this month’s block rather than by hand! Keep plugging along – seeing yours posted motivates others like me!!

  5. Thanks for the reminder, I’d forgotten to grab the March 15th blocks too. I’m still back on the February blocks. Yours look very nice. I might just machine applique a couple too, like Kathy said. Hope you get your computer back up and running.

  6. Your blocks look great.

  7. Your blocks are looking wonderful I have just been saving the patterns, not actually making any of them.
