Yesterday I posted a picture of my knitting which was laying on top of a table runner. One of my blog readers asked about the runner, so here it is.

Before I started quilting non-stop, I passed though Heirloom Sewing. I had a subscription to Sew Beautiful and several of the Martha Pullen books. My dream was to attend one of her week long schools. I didn’t get to do that, but I did attend a 3-day course when it was here in Kansas City 10-15 years ago.

During that class we learned to use the serger, sewing machine and embroidery machine to make beautiful heirloom items.  The table runner is from that class.
