In one of my Facebook quilting groups, the February challenge was doing something with your scraps. My goal was to clear the pile of scraps my sister left me and clear the treadle machine. I processed some of the scraps using Bonnie Hunter’s Scrap Users System, then simple packed the rest away in a box.
That top box contains the scraps from the the treadle, along with a couple of bundles of FQs. I don’t have space in my FQ boxes, so I just threw them in with the scraps. The Amazon box and crate are the scraps I cleared off the tables in January before my sister arrived.
Here are more scraps. This box is under the front of my longarm. It looks like there are a couple of pieces yardage in this box.
Under the longarm on the back side are these two crates.
Then there are these. In theory these are my precut scraps. There are a couple of boxes of shirt scraps. Some of these boxes barely close. I can’t really ‘process’ more scraps until I use some of them. So I need a scrappy quilt in my future. I just need to find a pattern.
