This week I’m getting the Quilting Accountability report done on the correct day 🙂
Last week I outlined several things that wouldn’t need much to complete. When I finally remembered to do my QA Report I simply wanted to make progress on at least two of these tasks. I’m happy to report that I succeeded.
The label is on the quilt and I got the pillowcase made. I also finished the Dancing Flowers quilt top.
So what needs to be done this week?
These blue and neutral scraps need to be cut up for two reasons –
- I need blue and neutral pieces for the Blue Ridge Beauty workshop I’m attending in two weeks
- I need to empty the scrap basket by July.
Also on the list is making progress on the Carolina Christmas quilt top — I’m going to aim for at least half the blocks sewn together by next week.
Check out Bari’s and others’ lists of weekly goals over .
You are doing great. What is a Blue Ridge Beauty? a quilt I am sure. LOL
I see we have a goal in common — to empty our scrap baskets! I wish us both the best of luck! Wanna race?
We are all going short and sweet on the goal lists this week. Let’s hope we all put the pedal to the metal!
Looks good, Pam! LOL, if it weren’t that I am the one coordinating the whole Quilter’s Accountability Challenge I am sure there would have been weeks that I might have been a few (okay, a LOT) of days late!
I’m like Julianne and want to know what a Blue Ridge Beauty is. I will have to google it when I get done here….Okay, so I went and looked and it is gorgeous! That will be a fun workshop.
You did get quite a bit done last week. Can’t wait to see your Carolina Christmas blocks. Are you doing the traditional colors or did you change yours up?
Way to go!
Blue Ridge Beauty is a Bonnie Hunter quilt and is in her new book Adventures in Leaders and Enders. Here’s a link to the picture: http://quiltville.com/blueridgebeautyoutside.jpg
I’m doing my Carolina Christmas in Pinks (red), Blues (green), Green (gold) and white.
