Wonky Dishes, my test quilt is Finished! This is the snow pic that I hurried to get on Saturday before the thaw.
The quilt measures 70″ x 80″ before washing. I have no idea how many different fabrics are in the quilt.
I purchased the backing twice. I totally forgot I had my backing when I found this on the clearance rack. It’s from a kid’s line — Space Camp – or something like that. It had cute little space shuttles instead of color dots — and no other identifying information on the selvage.
I quilted it with Glide in Linen on both the top and the bobbin. I used a combination of computer controlled feathers manually placed in each “block” and continuous curves in the broken dish units.
I used the backing fabric for the binding, which I stitched down by hand.

It looks great! Glad that you got a snow picture of it, too.
Love the backing and binding. A perfect match!
Congratulations on your finish; I love scrappy quilts! The name puzzles me, though.
Gorgeous! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your finish!
